We teach two languages: English and Brazilian Portuguese. Our English program covers kids, teenagers and adults, including General English, Conversational English, Business English and exam preparation. Our Brazilian Portuguese program is designed specifically for foreigners, and is taught by Brazilian teachers. Pricing and class formats are the same for both.
Classes run over video call, usually Zoom or Google Meet. Everything is live with a real teacher, in real time. It is fully interactive: you talk, discuss topics and work through materials together. You need a computer or tablet with a camera, a stable connection and a quiet space. There is nothing to install and no textbooks to buy. Most students are comfortable with the format after the first class or two.
Fluent Flow teachers are selected for their language knowledge, teaching ability, communication skills and experience with international students. Our English classes are taught by native and near native speakers. Our Brazilian Portuguese classes are taught by Brazilian teachers who specialise in teaching foreigners. The school was founded by Egor Davydov, who has over 10 years of teaching experience and leads the teaching method.
No. Most of our Portuguese students start from zero. The first classes cover essential phrases, pronunciation and the language you need to handle basic situations. Teachers are used to working with complete beginners and will use as much English as needed early on, then shift into Portuguese as you progress.
Our English program runs from age 6 through to adults. Younger children learn through stories, games and conversation, teenagers combine language with academic and exam work, and adults focus on what they need for work or daily life. Our Brazilian Portuguese program is aimed at adults, including university students and professionals.
Yes. We offer focused preparation for IELTS and Cambridge exams including PET, FCE and CAE. Classes cover all four skills with real exam materials, timed practice, mock tests and detailed feedback. Two of our students recently passed Cambridge PET and CAE. We also work on test strategy and time management, which many students find harder than the language itself.
Both are available in both languages. Private classes are one student with one teacher, fully built around your level, goals and schedule. This is the fastest way to progress. Small groups have a maximum of 5 students at a similar level, cost less per class, and give you more conversation partners. If you are not sure, mention it in the trial class and we will recommend one.
A private class is $30 USD, around NT$900. Small group classes are $15 USD per student. We offer packs of 4, 8 or 12 classes, with a small discount on larger packs. Pricing is identical for English and Brazilian Portuguese. The trial class is free, lasts 30 minutes and carries no commitment. Full details are on the pricing page.
You will speak in your first class, whichever language you choose. Beyond that it depends on your starting level, how often you have classes and how much you practise in between. With weekly classes, most students notice they are forming fuller sentences within the first month, and following faster conversation within two or three. We send progress feedback so you can see it rather than guess.
That is what the free trial is for. You meet a teacher, we check your level, and you see how we work. There is no pressure and no commitment. If it is not right, that is completely fine. If you start classes and later decide to stop, there are no cancellation fees. Classes are sold in packs, not subscriptions.
